I'm troubled by the administration's argument of, "well, it's wartime, we have to have these broad executive powers b/c it's wartime, oh, and btw, this war lasts forever".... and, "trust us, we're doing this to protect America, that's all the check and balance you need"..... I haven't yet emailed with my Bush supporting right wing ideologue friend about this. I wonder what he'll have to say. Heh.. that was my first thought…
