		<description>Well, Ubuntu only seems to have generic kernels now (all the k7, i686, etc specific ones are deprecated and point to the generic version). I tried to install that and X server wouldn't load. Of course, that happened when I compiled one myself, but after reading about compiling kernels on the Ubuntu forums I knew to fix it by reinstalling my nVidia drivers. So, I'm not entirely sure what a generic kernel has (I assume basically everything) and I haven't tried it again, but I may not have &lt;em&gt;had&lt;/em&gt; to do it myself.</description>
