This is a decidedly less stupid position on homosexuality than we’re used to seeing from conservative Christians. Even if homosexual behavior isn’t a choice, it’s just a temptation and shouldn’t be acted upon. Sadly, it appears to be quite controversial.

That’s not to say it’s a defensible position. The idea that a supreme being cares what consenting adults do with their sexual organs is perhaps the dumbest idea religions promote. It’s just above “have some crackers and juice and pretend you’re eating Jesus” and “1+1+1=1.”
