Top Commenters
Published by Jeff, September 29th, 2007 in BloggingOver in the sidebar you’ll notice a new section, Top Commenters. I noticed that plugin on Colby’s blog after his overhaul and thought it was pretty nifty.
Looking at it makes me realize how long I’ve been doing this. Several people on there no longer read this blog or comment on here. They had a spurt of reading and commenting and moved on. A few names I’d never have guessed commented here that many times.

I never would’ve guessed it was that high, even though I read every entry. Unless there’s another small-R Rob that comments here, that is.
None come to mind. As you can tell, most of my commenters use proper capitalization.
I better hurry
up and comment more so
I can make it higher
on that list!
Colby, that reminds me of a Land Board meeting in the Capitol a couple of years ago. Governor Schweitzer was lambasting Secretary of State Johnson for criticizing the governor’s commitment to coal development. The governor was prepared with a DNRC staff-compiled list of how many times the word “coal” had been used during Land Board meetings in 2005. Attorney General McGrath was low man on the list, to which he immediately responded by saying: “Coal coal coal coal coal…”
