Lapel pins

Stupid controversies are not in short supply, but the current one about what’s on Obama’s lapel is a great one. Essentially, he attempted to separate himself from fake patriotism during the Iraq war by not wearing one. Good for him. Sean Hannity’s reaction is brilliant:
Said Sean Hannity: “Why do we wear pins? Because our country is under attack!”
Hannity apparently wears magic pins that prevent him from being hurt in a terrorist attack (I imagine it’s a lot like this episode of Stargate Atlantis).
