Seriously?

Jonah Goldberg is offended by Darwin Fish car magnets.

Because it’s mocking a symbol of Christianity. The mean atheists are making fun of poor Jonah’s beliefs.

Religion’s funny. People like Jonah want special status for their nonsense, so they don’t have to hear people make fun of it. I mean, they can’t make racist and misogynist comments anymore without being labeled a bigot, so damn it, their special beliefs ought to be protected, too.

You choose your religion. I can make fun of conservatism, conservatives can make fun of liberalism. The religious can make fun of atheism, the non-religious can make fun of religion. Lighten up.

In America, these fish appear mostly on cars. Recently, however, it seems Jesus fish have become outnumbered by Darwin fish.

How paranoid is he?! I can only DREAM of living in a country where Darwin fish outnumber Jesus fish.

You don’t get to write a book called Liberal Fascism unless you’ve got a paranoid streak a mile wide.

I saw your post about criticizing another person’s worldview. Have you seen Conservapedia’s atheism article located here:

    http://www.conservapedia.com/Atheism ?

No, though I’ve seen pretty much everything in it in other places. It’s not particularly convincing, as these things usually are.

Ugh. I managed to go 28 years, 8 months, and 17 days without knowing of the existence of Conservapedia. Well, it was nice while it lasted.

Technically speaking, Lina, that’s at least a couple of years longer than you should have. I was introduced to the odious thing through P.Z. Meyers’ blog a while ago. Funny, but in a Sad way.
